Meet Tas.
Tas has been a genuine gift to the It’s Personal community and me personally. And aside from his bad taste in music, he’s an absolute gem.
But when he first came to the community, he wasn’t convinced the program would work. ‘I’m a shift worker’ he explained ‘…a bus driver, I literally sit down every single day to do my job. I can’t walk around; I can’t have breaks whenever I feel like it; I have to be on schedule, otherwise, everybody else is off schedule.’
‘I really don’t know how I’m going to be able to fit a bunch of exercise into my day.’ Once he realised that he was only going to be exercising for about four hours a week, he was so relieved. At the start he was unsure he was doing enough, but soon the results started to speak for themselves.
‘But I don’t want to drink potions and lotions. I’m a Greek boy, I need to eat my food. I don’t want to suck it down a straw, like an 80-year old YaiYa with no teeth does.’
Well, imagine his surprise when he learnt how to easily eat metabolically precise, nutritious, flavoursome, stomach-filling food.
Now he is the king of the kitchen, showing off his culinary talents to the rest of the community.
But listen, I can’t take all the credit.
I mean he did the work, but he also lives in a household of love with two of my wonderful clients. This is a family thing and a way of life for these beautiful people.
So, join me in congratulating Tas on his outstanding efforts.
I know your journey isn’t done yet Tas but it has been a pleasure to watch so far, you have inspired so many people, some you haven’t met face to face yet either.
